Four committees, three islands and a coast.

The chamber organises its members into committees by sector and by region, and runs five named programmes under its own name, two of them on the Italian state's behalf.

The committees, and who chairs them

The four committees of 2026 and the three southern sub-committees, as the chamber sets them out on its own committee sheet. A chamber whose chairs sit in Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui is not only a Bangkok chamber, and its 2011 Phuket chapter is where that started.

Fashion & Jewelry Committee

Launched in 2017 as the Gems & Jewelry Committee, dedicated to integrating Italy’s renowned expertise in design, engineering, and manufacturing with Thailand’s strengths in machinery and production.

Three sub-committees under the Southern Regions Committee, each with its own chair. The chamber opened a second chapter in Phuket in 2011.

What the Industrial and EEC Committee says it is for

Its own four-line mission, from its own page.

The TICC Industrial Committee, promoted by the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, is a platform for companies, professionals, and stakeholders in the industrial sector. Its purpose is to foster dialogue, collaboration, and business opportunities in developing industry in Thailand.

  1. Build a strategic network between Italian and Thai companies.
  2. Promote innovation and best practices in the industrial sector.
  3. Encourage synergies and partnerships for business growth.
  4. Provide a forum for discussion on key industrial and policy issues.

Five programmes, described in their own words

Five programmes the chamber runs under its own name, described in its own words. Two of them, Ospitalità Italiana and True Italian Taste, are Italian state projects it holds the Thai mandate for.

Ospitalità Italiana
A worldwide project that aims to certify Authentic Italian Restaurants abroad by following the strict requirements set by the National Institute of Research on Tourism (IS.NA.R.T.). The chamber has managed the certification of authenticity for Italian restaurants in Thailand since 2010, covering Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Hua Hin, Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, Pattaya and Phuket. Since 2022 the mark extends to Italian pizzerias and to the Italian gelateria.
True Italian Taste
Funded and promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, part of “The Extraordinary Italian Taste” campaign and coordinated by Assocamerestero. It aims to increase awareness and conscious consumption of 100% made in Italy food in markets where Italian products are most often compared to those that use Italic symbols or names even if they are not of Italian origin. The project reached Thailand in 2018.
AVPN
On 29 July 2022 the chamber signed a partnership with the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana for the promotion of the True Neapolitan Pizza in Thailand and South-East Asia, with the objective of spreading the art of the Neapolitan Pizzaiolo, recognized as an intangible heritage by UNESCO in 2017.
EduForum
The chamber’s Educational Hub, a platform developed to provide information and showcase its education partners: universities and academies in Italy and Thailand, Italian and Thai language courses, laboratories for children, international schools, and an HR recruitment and internship route.
Resident Artists
A programme aiming to support the work of artists whose work reflects the creativity, innovation and vision that underpins the spirit of entrepreneurship. Each year the chamber selects several of its events and involves its resident artists, who exhibit and sell their work to its network.

Committee membership comes with the membership.

The chamber invites members into its committees, and once every three years the membership elects the Board of Directors those committees report to.
